About Usman Taha
His handwritten Quran, due to its many features, is currently the most widely circulated Quran in the world, and most of the Qurans in the countries are in the handwriting of Uthman Taha. The best advantage of this author’s work is the arrangement of the Quran in pages with complete verses, so verse 282 of Al-Baqarah, which is the longest verse in the Quran, is included in one page (p. 48) and the entire Quran is arranged in 604 pages. Each page is 15 lines, except for the first and second pages. In addition, each part of this Quran, except for the first and last parts, is arranged in 20 pages. Another feature of this calligraphy format is that all Islamic sects, especially the Sunni sect, use this version of the Quran.
About the translator
Hossein Ansarian (born November 17, 1944) is the son of Mohammad Baqir, a Quran commentator, spiritual mystic, prayer reader, author, and professor at the Qom Seminary from Iran. He has been engaged in religious preaching for many years and usually preaches in the traditional pulpit at the Hamadani Hosseiniyeh in Tehran. He is also involved in social and cultural issues. In the scientific and religious field, 4,000 lecture tapes and more than 40 book titles – about 80 volumes – have been recorded by Hossein Ansarian.
